Meet Tara...
I’m Tara, a Chartered Physiotherapist with over 25 years’ experience across the NHS and independent healthcare. I’m passionate about the role physiotherapy plays in healthy ageing and the management of long-term conditions. With experience across various healthcare settings including care of the older person, orthopaedics and community care, I know how important timely, innovative, home based physiotherapy can be for older adults in the Shropshire area.
I’m a full member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council, so you can be confident in the standards and safety of my practice. I have a genuine love of learning and continual professional development – regularly updating my knowledge and skills so your treatment reflects the latest evidence and best practice. Membership in the regional specialist older persons physiotherapists’ group, Agile, offers regular conferences and learning opportunities that support ongoing professional development.
In September 2025, I began a new chapter as a visiting lecturer on the Physiotherapy Degree Programme at Newman University, sharing real-world insight with the next generation of clinicians.
Away from work, I’m a busy parent, alongside my husband, to three teenagers and two energetic dogs, often exploring the Shropshire countryside.
